So what is a Kopa-Pod? Well, a copepod is a small, salt or fresh water crustacean in the subclass copepoda. Most of the over 10,000 species are marine. Many live at the surface while others live at great depths in the sea. Copepods are an important food source for many fish. But what is a Kopa-Pod? At this point, there is no fixed definition. For now I'll define it as a short (less than five minute) podcast published by Mr. Kopa's fourth grade class. Be cautioned, this definition may change at any time! We are currently playing around with Audacity software to get a feel for how to put these Kopa-Pods together. Please check back often as we begin to develop this page. |
