Academic Integrity

Honesty and integrity are essential in the development of good character. Academic Integrity requires students to take full responsibility for their own work.  Dishonesty in any form is wrong and will not be tolerated.

Violations of Academic Integrity include:

1.      Copying
Copying or reproducing someone else’s work(homework, test, quizzes, papers) with or without consent.

2.      Plagiarizing
Taking information from a source or sources without giving credit.

3.      Recycling /Multiple Submissions
Reusing class work, assignments or tests from other students, from other classes or from previous years.

4.      Unauthorized collaboration                                              
                  Turning individual assignments into group work.

5.      Cheating
Taking credit for work you did not do.

6.      Aiding
 Knowingly allowing someone to copy from you.
